O-Week might be over but the fun continues this Saturday with the annual Brisbane City Council City Welcome Festival!
Along with providing information on all the things a student could need during their time here, the City Welcome Festival also entertains with live music, wildlife displays, street performers and much more.
From 27 February to approximately 16 March 2015, Platform 1 - Northern busway - will have footpath restrictions and pedestrian diversions in place to allow awning framing works for the Pedestrian Link project to continue.
The diversions currently in place on Platform 2 – Southern busway – will be lifted during this period.
Diversions on Platform 2 – Southern busway – will then be reinstated sometime after 16 March (details to be confirmed). This is to allow services and roofing works to be completed in the busway area.
With the above diversions, please allow a few extra minutes to make your way to/from the campus to the busway.
There are expected to be no changes to the platform departure/arrival locations; however, any changes are at the discretion of Translink.
Footpath restrictions and diversions will be in place during the above works and are expected to be in place until early April. However, construction dates are subject to weather conditions.
Please ensure all directional signage at UQ Lakes station and the directions of traffic controllers are obeyed. Also, please use the designated footpaths to access the university during this time and do not walk on the busway. Enforceable fines apply.
